The Path

I have this "Thing" for paths. Paths are more than just trails (which I love also). I paint them. I write about them. I pray and ask to be shown if I am still on the right one or if I need to take a turn and walk a new one. I think about them a lot.
Sometimes I have company on my path and at other times I float along in solitude. Either way has it's own silver lining and purpose.
Now I find that if I keep my eyes open for the butterflies and ladybugs, they will grace me with their flutters. The flowers bloom and reach for the sun. The ants will bite me if I don't pay attention to where I sit in the shade. Somehow I realize that it's not just all about "Is this the path?" or "Where is this going?".... It's about appreciating the view and the lessons the path brings.
